Discover the Bridal Mansion at 120, a luxurious European style Inn about a mile from the center of Newport.  The villa combines old world elegance and contemporary chic, perfect for an intimate wedding, rehearsal supper and a Bridal Mansion for the bride and her immediate bridal party to relax.

The 9,000 sq ft Mansion gives you ample room to kick off your shoes and enjoy the luxurious surroundings whilst you get ready, hair, make-up and photography all done in intimate 1.5 acres of grounds giving you privacy in close proximity to downtown Newport.   Bridal breakfast, brunch or afternoon teas can be catered for.  Corinna will ensure your time is relaxing from start to finish – we have a list of preferred vendors so instead of running around Newport – relax and meet your vendors at the Bridal Mansion.

New York architect Richard Upjohn designed the villa in (1856) as one of two houses for Elizabeth and Louisa Howland, daughters of a prominent New York family.  Its bracketed roof, floor length windows, broad front porch and arched openings present a rare combination of Italianate and Stick style architecture.

In 2010 the Mansion was restored from the neglected cottage, and created a sophisticated European style Inn.  The interiors have a contemporary look, but the historic character is retained in the exquisite parquet floors, spectacular staircase, stained glass and marble mantlepieces. 

The Villa was listed on the National Register of Historic places in 1996.
